A community led, innovative sports development project that started off in Finsbury Park in 2002 and now works across Islington, Hackney and Haringey.
Offered courses in football, basketball, athletics, archery, tag archery, boxing and multi-sports at a range of venues.
All Change Arts and Candoco Dance Company
All Change is a leading community arts organisation promoting understanding and making connections between people. Candoco Dance Company is the contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers.
Offered a week-long dance project for young women.
Chocolate Film Workshops
This award-winning organisation specialises in transforming lives through film.
Offered a documentary filmmaking course at Lift youth hub plus an animation film-making course for young people who are or who have been part of the care system at Platform youth hub.
Clidive Sub Aqua Club
Celebrating their 50th year of training scuba divers in Islington this award-winning branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) are also one of the most active clubs in the country and members have dived all over the world.
Offered a taster course in scuba and snorkelling.
Trains young people to repair phones and to make money from doing so. Has won numerous award and recenlty named by the Centre for Social Justice as Social Enterprise of the Year.
Offered five day courses in Andover, Mildmay and Cally.
Cubitt Education - Institute of Anything
An artist-led organisation based in Islington. Cubitt works with individuals, schools, community centres and groups providing a diverse range of artist-led activities.
Offered a 12 day Silver Arts Award course in partnership with world-renowned Central St Martins.
Dragon Hall at Soapbox
The organisation that runs Soap Box aims to enable young people to discover, make and hack the future through new and developing digital technologies.
Offered sessions in 3D printing, virtual/ augmented reality, games design, videoing and podcasting at Mildmay Community Centre and at Finsbury Park Community Hub. Also hosting an Emergency First Aid course.
A professional film production company who are passionate about story telling through filmmaking as well as sharing knowledge and experiences through courses and workshops. They create an environment where young people can share their stories, and help bring people together to express their dreams. This year running a course in setting up a YouTube channel.
Run professional music studio sessions, artist development, and industry support giving opportunities to perform. Set up by Platinum award-winning local music producer Semothy Jones who has work with among others Lily Allen, Professor Green, Wretch 32, Plan B and Boy Better Know.

Highgate Newtown Community Centre
The Wood That Works project aims to offer everyone in the community a fun, safe, and creative space for children, friends and families to come and enjoy quality time together whilst creating wood objects to treasure.
Offered two week long courses in carpentry and making your own go-karts.
GLL in Islington
The UKs leading sports and leisure serices social enterprise, runs more than 250 facilities including in Islington. GLL also has a wide ranging sports development programme and runs the London Leisure College.
Joined the programme for the first time to offer a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualifiation at Cally Pool.
An educational charity, which works together with local young people, businesses, residents and families in Camden and Islington to create healthy, integrated and environmentally responsible communities.
Helping to find your inner hero with Wakanda Wednesdays
Head Held High
Run motivational, interactive creative workshops for anyone who wants to develop their confidence. They aim to encourage people to think out of the box and inspire them to take action based on new ideas and goals.
Offered Stand Up for Yourself, a motivational comedy course at Platform.
Delivers everything from creative body art and styling, to photoshoots, workshops, courses and performances. Taking inspiration from our world and all its wonders embracing beautiful things and creating new expressions of art.
Offered dance, singing, body art, drama, drumming, costume and prop making as part of a Carnival project and performance plus a mindfulness and meditation course.
Islington Boat Club
This charity is dedicated to making watersports free or at affordable prices for all young people. An RYA approved training centre and staffed with Canoe England registered instructors, they deliver accredited courses in range of water sports in the City Road Basin.
Offered taster days, kayaking courses, mountain bike courses and paddle boarding courses.
Marys Youth Club
Mary’s Youth Club, based in Upper Street, helps young people to be better connected and better equipped with the skills and confidence to form and engage with supportive networks of friends and family, health and social services, businesses and organisations.
Offered First Aid for Heroes Courses.
Sharon Clarke Cookery
Changing lives through good food. Her motto is "Come, wash your hands, lets cook and then eat in common unity"
Offered three-day bookable courses in creative finger food, vegetarian cooking, £5 max meals for two, indepdendent living and the basics of baking. Also ran drop in sessions for Carnival cooking.
The Big House
The Big House, based in Islington, is a charity working primarily with young people who are care leavers using drama to facilitate personal growth. They regularly stage high-profile theatre and film productions.
Offered two four day courses in acting. Open to all young people.
