Overview
Learn how to use a variety of carpentry tools and techniques to create your own wooden objects to take away. In these fun interactive workshops you will learn how to use power tools safely and gain a good understanding of useful DIY basics. This is a practical course that will bring in skills like measuring and planning for constructing objects.

You will get a taste of carpentry as a career and  find out about apprenticeships. You will learn about the importance of health and safety in the workshop.

What to wear or bring
Come in clothes you don't mind getting dusty
Avoid loose sleeves and sandals

Venue: Wood that Works Workshop (it can be difficult to find so we recommend you watch the video!)
