Overview

Join this introduction to city farming where you can get hands on with the farm’s animals and learn about their care. You can also take part in fun farm based activities like traditional crafts, gardening, cooking and even barrista skills in the café.  

This is a great way to get work experience with animals for entry to college or have an animal-based career.

Accreditation

You will gain new skills and knowledge in animal care, gardening, environmental and community work.  There will be an opportunity to gain ASDAN accreditation and to complete an health and safety qualification.

What to wear or bring

Comfortable clothes you dont mind getting dirty

Fun farm activties, perfect if you want to work with animals

Lunch will be provided.

Week 2 is now fully booked, a few places left on week 1!

A free meal will be provided to participants as part of this course
